Mia blew kisses to her Daddy while he mowed the lawn - "Because I love my DAD! I love him THIS much," she said, showing me the five fingers on her hand. "And I love YOU...THIS much!" holding up four fingers.
I smiled as I remembered a conversation I had with my mother (who never let me forget it!) about how I loved my Dad "as much as the SKY" and I loved my Mom "as much as the mountain".

You neglected to inform your readers that your mom rejoiced with you about loving your father so much since she had the same experience with her father and thought it a good thing that you had it too .... (heh-heh-heh)
